Kevin For Shrewsbury!
Determined defender who had his prefered postion at left back. Jobling joined the youth setup at Leicester City in 1984 and stepped up to the first team squad in 1986.

Jobbers left Leicester in 1988 after making around 10 apperances, he moved to Grimsby Town on a free transfer.

Jobling made around 300 apperances at Blundell Park between 1988 and 1998. He was rarely a regular more of a replacements for the tired and the injured at the back, he did have first team spells which were long running do not get me wrong but he rarely held onto his position.

Kevin was a decent defender and no one could fault it. He had a very small loan spell at locals Scunthorpe United in 1994 where he never made a first team apperance and he only played in 1 reserve game.

In 1998 Jobling was cooled out of the squad after earning promotion to Divison 1 that season. He was released amd signed up with Shrewsbury Town where he remained a first team figure up until his departure from the Shrews in 2000.

Jobling singed up for Conference club Telford United and soon accepted the chance of becoming the clubs Player/Coach while remaining an ever present sight at the heart of the clubs defence.

Jobling stepped up to Player/Assistant Manager in 2001 and remained at Telford until the club got rid of him in May 2005, a few months before the club were shattered by finances, dipped into administration and relegated about 5 leagues down to the Eastern Counties League(same as Brigg Town)

Now retired as a player we have not been able to find any evidence that Kevin is even a coach let alone manager or an assistant anywhere.
