The Welsh are desperate to bounce back after their 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Italy on Saturday. A win tonight will be enough to secure a play-off place though.

Injury to Mark Pembridge means that Gary Speed is almost certain to move back into midfield with Robbie Savage also missing through suspension. That leaves Barnard to come in the left back slot as manager Mark Hughes tries to fiddle with his injury struck squad.

Simon Davies is another likely to move into midfield after his shaky performance at right back in Milan. Mark Delaney could switch over from the centre if Andy Melville is declared fit. If not, Cardiff defender Rhys Weston is favourite to get the nod.

The Wales v Finland game will be live on BBC2 Wales from 19:10. Sky Digital viewers can watch it on channel 961. Highlights of this game, England V Liechtenstein and Germany V Scotland will be on BBC1 at 23:15
