Grimsby Town have today held a meeting with Michael Boulding's agent who has reiterated Michael's desire to stay with the club at present.
Barnsley boss Gudjon Thordarson has claimed that he will sign the Mariners' top scorer by the end of the week.
But despite Thordarson's confidence, Boulding has told his agent that he is in no hurry to leave Grimsby Town.
Despite the recent speculation linking Michael with a number of clubs, it is Grimsby Town's wish that he should remain with the club.
On further speculation from different sources at Barnsley regarding the future of Michael Boulding, the Grimsby Town Chairman would like to advise them that it is difficult to run two football clubs at once.
"Their manager and directors should not try to interpret the contract between Michael Boulding and Grimsby Town," he said.
