Carchedi and Fraser Make Non-League Switch!

Striker Giovanni Carchedi who was released a few months back has signed a short term deal with Ossett Town. The English/Italian forward spent time on trial with York City, however the injury prone youngster was not offered a deal.

Also signed by Ossett, was former reserve keeper Paul Fraser who was released last week by the club. Fraser and Carchedi both never made a first team apperance, however both were promissing players.

Also in the ranks at Ossett is former defender Kirk Wheeler. Wheeler spent a month on loan at Ossett aswell as Conference North side Barrow F.C He was released by Grimsby a few months ago and signed for Barrow. However the contract didn't last long and he re-joined Ossett on a permanent move.

now in the ranks at Town, Downes was a squad member in the 2002/2003 season but was released at the end of the year. He moved to Ossett Town at the start of the season after being released by York City.

Midfielder Chris Bolder, who made a handful of apperances spanning over 3 years, aswell is at Ossett. The promissing 22 year old was touted as a future star, but after average peformances it was no suprise he was released, however most were suprised to see him drop out of the Professional game.
