Davison quiet on future

The veteran stopper is rumoured to be considering retirement from the professional game after a disappointing season with the Mariners.

The former Bradford 'keeper failed to recreate his form from 1997-99 and ended up an injured bystander as Town were relegated from the second division.

Davison refused to comfirm or deny he was to retire to BBC Radio Humberside until he has met with Russell Slade next week, after that he will know what remains of his future.
