Duo Loaned Out!

Midfield duo Nick Heggarty and Paul Ashton have joined Whitby Town on a work experience loan deal. Heggarty who joined Grimsby youth team in 2003 after leaving Sheffield Wednesday was brought up into the first team last season and has made 1 league apperance for Grimsby, however the ginger haired 19 year old did score in pre-season against his former team Wednesday in one of a few games he played in.

Paul Ashton arrived mid way through last season after being released from Leicester City. Paul made the team a couple of teams but was an un-used sub on both occasions.
