End of the road for Law

Law took over in March with Graham Rodger given the team more than a fighting chance of survival after nine points from the six games he was in charge.

However all of 'Grezzas' hard work was soon undone. Out went the attacking and passing mentality, in came the long ball, hit and hope tactic.

Another noticable change was that of the players. Whilst the squad responded to Rodger, they never did once to Law. Rumours of the former Bradford man instantly forming a dislike with several key players were rife throughout his reign.

The signings brought in by Law were also very questionable. Step forward John Thorrington, Paul Warhurst and Mickael Antione-Curier. Whilst the signings of Jamie Lawrence and Alan Fettis were good, what was the need for Thorrington when we were overwashed with wingers, as we have been all season. Why sign Curier when he is not better than Mansaram, Soames or Rowan. Dare I say even Liam Nimmo would have been better in the first team than Curier.

Following the game Peter Furnueax has virtually said that Law won't be in charge next season, thank fuck!

Thanks for your errrr effort, Nicky. Don't the let door hit your arse on the way out!
