Fans can own THE Martin Pringle Shirt!

Last updated : 08 March 2002 By FootyMAD News Team

Martin has been so overwhelmed by the generosity of the Town fans who instantly took him to their hearts and sent him literally hundreds of messages of support after his injury, that he has asked the club to auction his shirt and donate the money raised to the Grimsby Town Handicapped Supporters Club.

And the great man has also personally signed it himself.

This shirt is unique ... the Club has not, and will not, apply the name 'Pringle' to any replica shirt now or in the future - so this shirt will be the ONLY one ever to bear the name 'Pringle.'

And this auction gives supporters the chance to own a piece of Town history!

There will be an on-line auction beginning on Friday 8 March and bids can be made at any time up until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday 12 March. The successful bid will be announced before the end of the BBC Radio Humberside / Grimsby Town Fans Forum on that evening.

Bids may also be made by phoning in to the Fans Forum on the Radio Humberside number which will be given out on the night.

The winning bid will also receive two complimentary tickets for the Grimsby Town v Wimbledon match on 23rd March 2002, when the shirt will be presented to the winners on the pitch by Player-manager Paul Groves.
