Former Mariners season ticket holder Paul Fraser, who joined the club as a Goalkeeper back in 2002, has been let go by Russell Slade today in another decision which has seen half of the upcoming talents chucked out like garbage.

Promissing keeper Fraser, was the 6th choice shot stopper at Blundell Park in the 2002/2003 season behing Danny Coyne,Shaun Allaway,Steve Croudson,Bradley Hughes and Andy Pettinger.

Last season Fraser was not part of the senior side and played youth and reserve team football. Following the departures of Aidan Davison.Alan Fettis and Andy Pettinger in the summer, Fraser was reinstated as the number 2 at Blundell Park.

Town fans will now look towards Slade in hope a keeper will be signed to fill in the gap, and hopefully push wobbly Welshman Anthony Williams of his purch.
