The Mariners squanded yet another in form run and blew a chance of getting into a position which is not between 14th and 18th spot. It seems every time the club look to be going forward, they simply fluff up and go back to square one.

Bristol Rovers were the side who beat Town today, despite leading 3-0 at the break the score did not reflect the game at all but yet again as we have seen so many times this season, Reddy,Gritton and Parkinson could not finish to save there lives.

Rovers included former Mariners Stuart Campbell(pictured) and Paul Trollope in the starting 11. Jamie Forrester a regular for Town in the mid nineties was amongst the subs but did not get the chance to run out against his former club neither did last years loan signing from Leyton Orient, Lee Thorpe also a former Codhead was not involved.

Will Town pick up, will they ever have an on form run, and is Slade going to be there when they do? Who Knows
