Grimsby player-manager Paul Groves said: "He thinks it's linked to his back and he's had the problem before.
He is seeing a chiropractor and we don't know how bad it is at the moment.
"He is definitely dodgy for the weekend."
However, Groves does have Simon Ford and Danny Coyne available, both having recovered from knocks and Darren Barnard has recovered from a throat infection.
