Law keen on duo

Law has already brought in Paul Warhurst, Alan Fettis and John Thorrington to boost his squad, on top of that he is keen to keep Isaiah Rankin at the club until the end of the season.

Lawrence has worked with Law before at Bradford. The 34-year-old midfielder signed for Walsall last summer but has failed to fit into the plans of Colin Lee and was released earlier in the week.

Capable of playing anywhere in midfield, Lawrence would add some much needed pace and power into the Town midfield if signed.

Antoine-Curier brings a colourful history with him, having already had FIVE clubs this season and and a whopping EIGHT in his career, despite being aged at just 21.

The big striker includes Preston, Nottm Forest, Brentford, Oldham, Kidderminster, Rochdale, Sheffield Wednesday and Notts County amongst his former employers.

When Town met County last month the Frenchman was on the scoresheet but his time at Meadow Lane soon turned sour. Caught on the piss 24 hours before a crucial game whilst celebrating his 21st birthday, Antoine-Curier was fined two weeks wages by manager Gary Mills and was told his month-to-month contract would not be renewed.

Town boss Law will now try to sign the duo to contracts in time for the visit of Neale Cooper's men.
