Having spent most of pre-season training and playing for his national side, Jamaica, Lawrence has had little chance to search for a new employer.
One man who has kept an eye on Lawrence's developments is Bradford boss Colin Todd. He is hopeful of taking Lawrence back to Valley Parade, despite interest from other parties.
"I had a good chat with Jamie, although he's got one or two other options and was speaking to someone after us," Todd said.
