Manchester United took full use of there squad of youth and International talent to slip past Grimsby Town on tuesday evening , following a decent game of football played at the home of Hyde United F.C

Town start promising and David Soames saw an early effort closed down by the United defenders.

Former Cambridge United loanee Colin Heath gave United the lead after 20 minutes following good play and a superb through ball.

Town were not put off and Stoke City trialist Jermaine Palmer shot just wide after United got mixed up at the back.

On 53 minutes Heath feeded the ball across the goal for Richard Jones to tap in for a 2-0 victory.
