Menno's Mate Trials At Town!

Remember Me: Menno Willems!

Sven Baas a defender from Dutch side Volendaam has joined Town on a week's trial. Baas played at Haarlem previously with former Mariner Menno Willems where the pair became friends.

Dutchman Willems was loaned from Vitesse Arnhem back in the 2000/2001 season and then signed permanently for £250,000. Menno spent two years at Grimsby before ending his stay in summer 2002.

Willems then joined Haarlem where he met up with Sven Baas.
