Gray-Turned Semi Pro in France!
Former Grimsby Town MAD Editor Mike Gray, has signed a month to month deal with French parte timers F.C Dieppe. The Grimsby born winger with youth connections to Rotherham United, Wakefield and Emley and Gainsborough Trinity will move to France next week.

Gray played a friendly game for La Roche Sur-Yon Vendee against Dieppe in September, and have offered fanatical Mariners fan Gray the chance of playing in the 4th highest league in France.

Mike spoke to caretaker editor Leo Brazier(myself) yesterday " I am glad to be offered a contract despite having to move abroad to play only as a part timer, I was lucky enough to find a job stacking shelves in a Dieppe supermarket aswell. I have been in and out of youth setups and amateur teams all my life in England, and now I can start a fresh as it is obvious Dieppe believe I can add some flair to there game, and title race"

Dieppe manager Rene Micoud mentioned "Mike is a good old fashioned English footballer, he is a plain, no nonsense player who will add a lot to my side"

We hope to keep you posted on Mike's progress in France.

Au Revoir and Bon Voyage
