Moore puts doubt on Daws move

Daws is available on a free transfer from the South Yorkshire outfit, but Moore has revealed that he is back with the Millers and that he's had no contact with Paul Groves, yet.

"Grimsby's chairman has spoken to Phil Henson (Rotherham chief executive) about keeping Nick for longer but I've had no contact whatsoever with Paul Groves.

"Until told otherwise, Nick is back with us."

Daws, who will recieve treatment on a slight calf strain whilst back with Moore's men, has proved to be a fine loan signing with a series of steady performances. Whilst his attacking play is not spectacular, his approach has brought some much needed calm to the back four he protects.
