The 23-year old, who is on-loan from Sunderland, has scored twice since his return to Blundell Park and will now stay with the Mariners until January 2nd.
Town, as expected, have completed the signing of former Sheffield United and Tranmere Rovers player George Santos.
The 32-year-old Marseille-born player spent a month at Blundell Park earlier this season.
