LINCOLNSHIRE CUP, GRIMSBY TOWN V SCUNTHORPE UNITED
THURSDAY 14TH JULY 7:30 KICK OFF

Grimsby Town's first pre-season game will be the Lincs Cup clash with local club Scunthorpe United. After a great season for The Iron, the small North East Lincs side will travel to there, bigger and more less fortunate neighbours at Blundell Park. The fixture never seems to be a succesful one for Town fans, and the attraction of Scunthorpe every summer still falls second fiddle to a pint and some fish and chips. However the fixture always proves to be a big game for the Scunny bunch, despite Scunthorpe now being a league above, they still can't resist an ice cream and a good pop at there bigger brothers.
