Rodger keeping calm

The Mariners put in their best performance of the season to cast aside the play-off hopefuls with a six goal demolition job.

Speaking to the official site, Rodger was keen to point out the positives from the game, but also added that it was only one win.

"A good three points," Rodger said. "It was a hard earnt, decent win.
"It was a hard earned win and a good three points but we have to keep our feet on the floor. We've scored more goals than the opposition for the second time in a week and that's a nice feeling.

"I think we started quite brightly. Andy Pettinger makes a good save in the first ten minutes to keep a clean sheet at nil-nil. Tony Crane makes a block just inside the box to keep it at nil-nil aswell - a lot of good positive points to build on.
