Town were leading 1-0 when Williams made a fantastic header from Gary Alexander, from the clearance Michael Reddy won Town a penalty which Thomas Pinault converted.

Speaking after the game Rodger highlighted the importance of Williams' save whilst pointing out that Town had seen off a very capable Orient side.

"I think that save needs a massive mention. It can show you again what has been happening to us - dominating games and throwing it away," he told MarinersNet.
"I think they've played well today. I can see what they are trying to do and I can see how hard they are working on their game plan. I just think that we stuck to our jobs very well today, but I can see why they are doing well.
"They're no mugs. You are not up there because you are lucky - you are up there because you are a decent team."
