Town boss Russell Slade ended his contracted season long loan at Blundell Park last month after coming to the conclusion that his attitude stunk and that his on and off field behaviour was unacceptable.
Blades boss Neil Warnock placed Sestanovich on the transfer list 2 weeks ago , but with little intrest in the Croatian/Grenadian star he had his contract terminated by mutual consent earlier this week.
It is reported however that Sestanovich will feature for Gillingham Reserves this week after boss Stan Ternent invited him to join his club for training on a short term trial basis on a view to a permanent move.
