Six points will keep us up

Speaking to the Grimsby Telegraph Law said: "If we don't win on Saturday it might as well be our last game of the season. I know if we get six points from our last two games we will stay up.

After Saturday's shite first half performance away to Stockport, it seems highly unlikely that six points will be picked up from Brentford and then Tranmere away.

However the final 30 minutes did give some hope, not enough for my liking though. The concentration levels need improving big time, can Law be sure that we won't see another wandering performance by most the team in the opening minutes?

The biggest worry for Town is creating chances though, we can't defend and we haven't done all season. Trying to shut up shop won't work, in fact it's the worst thing we can do. We'll have to outscore teams, it's that simple.

How can we score more goals? Well it's not that difficult to work out. Put simply we need to create more chances in order to score more goals. The one person who can and will create is Graham Hockless. Take note, Nicky. Forgot packing the team with grafters. That's not going to keep us up. Play Hockless from the start in both games, throw away your 'Big Man = Good Man' attitude and play the only player who can save us!
