Six year record broken by Town!

By keeping Blackpool, Sheffield Wednesday and Chesterfield at bay, Paul Groves men have kept three consecutive clean sheets, in the league, for the first time since Christmas 1997.

Despite leaking goals all over the shop early in the season, Town seem to have sorted their act out in defence. The 2-1 defeat to Swindon the last time Town conceded.

Whilst Town have kept three consecutive clean sheets on a few occasions after 1997, those have been aided by cup games.

The shutouts against Bristol Rovers, Carlisle and York came in the 2nd Division under the leadership of Alan Buckley (pictured), now boss of Rochdale. The run came in the middle of a 13 game unbeaten stretch that saw Buckley's team emerge from lower mid table to promotion contenders.
