Slade far from happy

Town crashed out of the LDV at the first hurdle last night, despite Colin Cramb netting on his debut.

Slade was furious after the defeat and slammed the second string for not taking their chance to make a first team claim.

In what many will regard a comment aimed at Graham Hockless' fans, Slade told Mariners Net: "I'm very disappointed with the performance tonight. One or two of them have knocked on my door and wondered why they've not been in the first team - well they've answered their own questions tonight."

Slade went onto praise Terrell Forbes and admit that Terry Fleming may struggle with injury after he was the victim of a stamping which resulted in Will McDonagh's red card.
