Simeon Jackson earned a point for the struggling Diamonds with a late equaliser.

But Slade was adamant that the teenager, and possibly other Rushden players, were offside when he blasted the ball past Steve Mildenhall following Wayne Hatswell's free-kick.

He raged: "I would like to see the video of the goal because my players are convinced they had one or possibly two players off-side.

"The linesman put his flag up and then down again. It's a real kick in the teeth.

"When I make a mistake I expect to be made accountable for it."

Defender Rob Jones was shown a red card after the match for arguing with the assistant referee.

Slade admitted: "He suggested the linesman didn't have a good game and he vented his frustration at him.

"It may not have been the best time to do that."
