Mariners boss Russell Slade has mentioned that Yeovil Town will come into the match on saturday against Grimsby Town as confident as ever.

Speaking following The Mariners 1-0 victory over Chester City the other night, Slade commented on Yeovil and there victory over Scunthorpe United. "After their result, which was massive for them, they will come here more confident than Arsenal, Man United or Chelsea"

"Chester sat very deep and that denied space for us but Yeovil will come at us more. We are normally better in these type of games"

It will be mixed feelings from fans as former striker Phil Jevons returns as the leading goalscorer in the league and the main man up front for Yeovil. Jevvo will be remembered for "that" goal against Liverpool in the Worthington Cup.

Jevvo was Player Of The Year last season, but in 3 years at the club never found a real regular goalscoring form that he is on at Yeovil. Jevvo was also loaned out to Hull City for the majority of the 2002/2003 season and rarely netted for The Tigers, however all the good signs of Jevvo need to be behind us for saturday. Personally myself I will clap him on, as he was a good servant to Grimsby Town FC.
