Taylor sidelined for up to a month

Boss Paul Groves feared that Taylor had picked up tendon damage when he limped off during the drawn game with Bradford last Saturday.

Fears that Taylor could have been released from the four-month contract he signed last week have been allayed with the news that the damage is a calf strain and the striker will remain at the club.

"The fact that it's only a calf strain is good news. But the fact is that he'll still be out for at least two or three weeks is a disappointment," said Groves.
