Town in bid to get Boulding back

Boulding was sold to Aston Villa in August but recently had an injury-plagued two-month loan spell at Sheffield United and returned to Villa last week.

Grimsby chairman Peter Furneaux is reported to be interested in bringing him back to the club, providing he returns to full fitness after ankle ligament damage.

A Town spokesman added: 'I'm sure that we're interested in him, but it depends on his fitness levels.'
