Town loan Blade for the season

22-year-old Sestanovich spent three months last season under the management of Russell Slade at Scarborough, scoring the winning goal against Southend to set up the money spinning FA Cup game against Chelsea.

Standing at 6'3", Sestanovich will provide some vital height and strength for the season in the Football League basement. Described as very quick, the ex-Man City youth could either occupy one of the 3 attacking berths or the right wing role in Slade's prefered 3-4-3 system for next season.

The link up with Sheffield United no doubt comes from Slade's personal friendship with Neil Warnock, having served as youth team coach under him.

Sestanovich will take the No 7 squad shirt, previously occupied by Alan Pouton.
