Woods warns mismiring Mariners

"We were comfortably the best team, said Woods. "We moved the ball around well, created chances but failed to finish them and to play against 10 men for half an hour makes it more disappointing not to win the game.

"We had 24 efforts on goal so it tells you the problem which is obvious to everybody, we have to turn the possession and chances we are having into goals.

"Their keeper was outstanding to be fair but with the quality of chances we had, however good he is, he should not have had a chance with one or two of them.

"We have got to be a lot more ruthless when we get in that last third. We should have done better. You should score against 10 men."
